HER Faith Ministries (HFM) was founded in 2008 as a ministry that addresses the ongoing problem of poverty among women and children in the City of Memphis and Shelby County. Over its 15- year existence, the Ministry has assisted hundreds of women with children through programs that provide emergency food, clothing, transportation, medical, rent and utility assistance. Due to the onset of Covid-19 and its ongoing risks, the Ministry has suspended some programs such as its adult clothes closet, medical assistance program and assistance with transportation. The Ministry is now focusing its efforts on immediate and emergent needs such as providing assistance with emergency food, baby formula and clothing for infants and toddlers; and assistance with the cost of increasing rent and utilities. Our Ministry is working tirelessly to keep pace with the every-changing climate of need in our varied communities.
